History: AutoLinks

When the AutoLinks option is enabled, Tiki will automatically transform any website or email addresses that you type in a wiki textarea into a clickable hyperlink. It is similar but different to ((Hotwords)).

Use AutoLinks as a shortcut for creating links with Tiki's ((Wiki Syntax)) (that is, using [[http://www.tiki.org]).

## AutoLink Examples

For example:

- Typing **~np~www.tiki.org~/np~** will produce: <br /> www.tiki.org

- Typing **~np~http://www.tiki.org~/np~** will produce: <br /> http://www.tiki.org

- Typing **~np~info@tikiwiki.org~/np~** will produce: <br /> info@tikiwiki.org
